What the columns and badges mean

Each row buys the coin on a spot exchange (spot earns no funding) and shorts its perp where funding pays shorts. Funding is the perp leg's own 7d APR. On capital here is net × L/(L+1) (spot paid in full plus perp margin), against × L/2 for perp ↔ perp pairs: compare it within one mode only. Methodology

Funding 7d: Average funding APR the short perp received over 7 days (gross, on notional). Spot earns no funding.
On capital: Net APR on spot notional plus perp margin, N + N/L: net × L/(L+1).
Payback: Days of 7d funding to pay the round trip (4 taker fees) plus the basis when spot is dearer.
Basis: Perp vs spot price. Negative (spot dearer) is a cost; a positive basis is not counted as profit.
Spot vol 24h: Spot 24h volume on the buy venue, USD.
steady: Steady: the perp's prior-week funding at least 5% APR, last 24h positive and no spike, positive now. Paid shorts in X% of hours over 7 days.
spike: The perp's last-24h funding is far above its prior 6-day average (more than 3×, or above 15% APR after a weak prior) — it may not last.
mixed: The perp paid shorts too rarely: a rate above 0 in only X% of hours over 7 days.
new: Less than 4 days of the perp's funding history in the prior week: stability cannot be judged yet.
weak: The perp's prior-week funding is under 5% APR: too small to call steady.
cooling: The prior week was solid, but the perp's last-24h funding is not positive.
≠ asset?: Spot and perp prices differ by N bps — possibly a different asset under one ticker. Verify before trading.
stale: At least one leg has not updated for over 30 minutes.
low OI: Perp open interest under $50k — size carefully.
thin spot: Spot 24h volume under $1M: the book may not take the size.
TradFi: Tokenized stock, index or commodity: trading sessions and oracle rules may differ.
invite only: Invite-only venue: an account needs an invite code, so it is not selected by default. Tick it in the venue filter to include it.
spread not incl.: A leg trades on quotes with no fee (Variational): the cost is the market maker's quote spread, which we cannot see, so the net APR is before it. Compare the quote with the mark price before you trade.
CEX: Centralized exchange: trading needs an account with identity verification (KYC).
